Spring Decor just in time before Easter!

Officially spring is here — even though in Wisconsin — it's back to winter for another week, lol. I finally get my spring decorations up, and then it snows again. But that's how it goes around here! Hopefully it's a little warmer next week, and I'll update my front porch. My mom helped me take down my winter decor when I was sick, so now it's looking really blah and empty out there. ;)

I LOVE decorating my mantle for the seasons! My fave place to decorate in the house. I made the Fresh Flower Market stencil sign a few years ago, and I absolutely love it. Just had a Sip-n-Stain  party a couple weekends ago and my mom and sis made one like it too! :)

When decorating shelves/mantles, keep a couple simple tricks in mind:

  1. Vary heights

  2. Have different layers and textures

I bought the Eucalyptus Garland with Willow Leaves from Amazon. The bunny and nest sign with tulips I just created this year and also included that in my latest Sip-n-Stain painting party. I love the "I love Us" family sign that I made for Valentine's this year, so I incorporated it into my spring decor because I didn't want to put it away yet. ;)

The faux tulips in this pic are all from Amazon and really great quality — I highly recommend!

The bird nest with eggs was from Amazon also, super cute and worked great for that project!

The bunny drawing is an Adobe Firefly AI creation. I tried to get a picture of our bunny, Snowball, and turn it into a drawing like this, but it wasn't turning out how I wanted... so I cheated and used and AI creation of a Holland Lop bunny. New tricks in the graphic design trade. ;)

A few years back, I took a thrift store frame and used white chalk paint with subtle streaks of light green, then sanded the paint strategically to let the brown stain show through in spots. The light green candles really add a subtle pop to this shelf. Green's my fave color if you have noticed by now!
