Happy New Year's!
In addition to getting the house cleaned up and making food...and needing a shower... I started my day working on my board and batten accent wall in the stairway landing to the basement. Like some projects go, it did not go as planned. I only go this far, but will post the finished results on a later date when my patience has returned. LOL ;)
So I have a whole 45 minutes before Ava gets home, and we have to start party preparation — back to working on house floor plans!! Maybe the computer will be better luck for me today than the manual labor. :)
All kidding aside, since I spend my full time job sitting at a computer all day, I really do enjoy all these manual labor house projects. Using power tools. Getting dirty. It's very rewarding! And even though this wall didn't go well initially, I know it'll still turn out great in the end and look AMAZING!
