The board and batten accent wall is absolutely stunning, especially when paired with the shelf and reading lights. It not only serves as a functional headboard, but it also adds a touch of elegance to the room. I'm in love with this look!
For the DIYers, there are lots of tutorials online for applying board and batten on your own. My dad's a carpenter, so her prebuilt in his shop. We didn't actually add board (saves on wood costs and has the same look), just space the battens accordingly on the drywall, caulk the edges, nail and paint. AFFORDABLE!

The reading lights are adjustable to angle and tilt however you want them, very handy and work great. Matte black with accents of antique brass. I got these on Amazon at a great price!
