So Ava and I had to take a quick break from Spring Break so I could have my first loading dose. Hopefully the Rinvoq and Skyrizi is the miracle combination to kicking this inflammation once and for all!!!
After 3 loading doses as infusions, the rest are at home shots, so that's good.
This is the first time Ava ever came with me to an appointment like this, even though it's nothing knew to me. Now that she's older I'm hoping it opened her eyes a bit as to what I all go through... you know what I mean? She throws a fit at the doctors office for the few shots she has to get every so many years. I get poked all the time. Don't get me wrong, one of my biggest fears is that she gets my bad intestinal genetics and that will kill me. But a little perspective might help. She was mostly bored and had the uncomfortable chair so a little whiny... oddly I find the infusions relaxing as I'm forced to sit and do nothing, lol.
